Uptown Emporium

On Oct 6th I purchased 3 Halloween items from dealer 0040. There was a neon sign saying all Halloween items were 25% off. I hurried out of the store as it was closing at 4:00, and I didn't want the clerk to stay beyond her working hours. (It was 4:02). After getting home, I checked my receipt and realized the salesclerk did not give me the advertised 25% off. I went back to the store on the 8th with my receipt, as I should have gotten an additional $10 off my total. There was a different salesclerk at the checkout, and she told me there was nothing she could do as the booth owner was already paid. I asked her if I could pick out something in that same booth worth $10 since that was what I was owed, and she said NO. She told me all sales were FINAL. I told her I was not returning anything, just wanted the $10 back that I was overcharged. NOPE, she said there was nothing she could do... I bought an item from a different booth that same day that came up 50% off, so I don't understand why the other booth's items that were 25% off did not come up in the computer. I feel it was terrible customer service. How disappointed I was in a store that I frequent often (I am a local), and I have spent a lot of money there over the years.

Thoroughly enjoyed shopping here. Very eclectic variety of goods. Be prepared to take your time. So much to peruse.

This store is by far one of my favorite antique stores I have visited so far. This store offers so much, from seasonal items, to furniture, home decor, longaberger baskets, vintage finds and much more. The prices range from affordable to pricey, and there is a lot to see as the store is enormous. I can’t wait come back to this store to see what new treasures I can find! I’m in love with my new longaberger basket. I can’t recommend this place enough!
